The interpreting radiographer: why and how
Featured
Every day around the world, radiographers take X-rays which will never be reported by a radiologist. In many cases they will not even be seen by a doctor.
It's very important to understand what can reasonably be expected from an interpreting radiographer, and what's outside the limits of the job.
Doing the same things each time is how you get good at this - even when you’ve been doing it long enough that it’s automatic.
You can create reports and send them out all day long, but if your reports aren’t useful to the people reading them, you may as well not bother.
